The Upstate New York Internet Exchange ("UNY-IX") is a Nonprofit Regional Internet Exchange (IXP) with locations in the Upstate New York region.

Currently there are no IXPs in the entire Upstate (Western, Central, North Country, Capital) Regions of New York State. The UNY-IX mission is to provide IX Services to each of these regions.

UNY-IX will provide its members with Internet cost savings, peering capabilities  with other members, improved end-user experience, increased network redundancy and reduced latency.
